HOW IT WORKS

Building a relationship with my clients is the most important thing to me, and I make it a priority throughout the entire process. From our first email to my final photo delivery, I work to create a custom and collaborative experience.

01

The Vision

The first thing we’ll do is get to know each other–IRL if possible–to collaborate and build a vision together

02

The Plan

We’ll map out a schedule, shot list, timeline, venue visit, contract–you know, the sexy stuff.

03

The Shoot

This is where the vision comes to fruition. I’ll be with you every step of the way to provide direction and to capture your intimate experience.

04

The Fruits

You will receive all of your images in a personal online gallery to share with family and friends, so get ready to make Aunt Susie cry all over again.

FAQs

for brides & grooms

How much do wedding packages cost?

Wedding day packages starting at $2,500.

I’m not comfortable in front of the camera!

You, me, and 99% of the world. We’ll spend time together before the wedding and during an engagement shoot. The more comfortable we are around each other, the more at ease you’ll feel on camera. I got you – the most rewarding thing to hear from clients is “Wow, that’s actually how we are together, that’s what we look like.”

How much time do I need?

I typically shoot for 6-8 hours on a wedding day. It’s important to me that you feel covered. Consider travel time between locations. Do you have a big wedding party or family shot list? Do you want coverage of dancing, cake cutting, both bride and groom getting ready? We’ll talk about everything and make sure you get exactly what you’re envisioning.

Here’s an estimated time frame for what a day could look like:

  • Getting Ready: 1-1.5hr
  • First Look: .5hr
  • Formal Photography (group shots): 1hr
  • Pre-ceremony (couple to themselves, people take seats): .5hr
  • Ceremony: .5hr
  • Cocktail Hour / Couples Photos: 1-1.5hr
  • Dinner: 45m
  • Speeches: 45m
  • Cake, First Dance, Dancing: 1hr+ (the plus is for those dancing queens out there)

Do I need a second photographer?

If I feel we need a second photographer, we’ll discuss that as an option. I only bring on photographers I love and whose work complements mine. Additionally, if you love film photography and would like some analog images from your wedding, consider booking a second photographer to focus on that. I would say that about half my couples book a second shooter for 4-8 hours. For a more in-depth look at why you might consider hiring a second shooter, check out this article by The Knot.

Do you Photoshop?

We all make the “photoshop that person in” or “photoshop that thing out” jokes, but no, I do not alter images through Photoshop. My goal is to capture authentic moments. I work closely with couples to prep before their wedding day with shot lists and timelines so that when the unexpected does happen, we can roll with it together.

Do you include an engagement shoot?

Yes, I include engagement sessions in each wedding package. I strongly believe in building a foundation with my clients so that on your wedding day it’s like seeing a friend, not a stranger with a camera. By seeing how you two interact with each other, I can give direction that is natural and authentic to your relationship.

AREAS SERVED

I’m based in Denver and have connections in New Orleans, New York, Portland, the Bay Area, and Los Angeles.
I’ve photographed weddings in Oregon, California, Arizona, Sweden, and Mexico.

I travel on a case-by-case basis, but I tend to lean towards adventure over comfort. Anywhere I have the option to stay with friends or family, I don’t need accommodations and am happy to strike that line item from the budget. So if you’re having a destination wedding on a jungle cliffside in Jalisco, MX or on an apple orchard in Corvallis, OR, I’m there!
