YOU’RE GETTING MARRIED!
I’M INCREDIBLY HONORED TO BE WITH YOU ON SUCH AN IMPORTANT DAY.
You’ve chosen me to be by your side and I treat that with great care! I’m looking forward to creating some special memories and gorgeous images together.
I want to make sure you have everything that you need to feel prepared for your day. I’m here to support you on the details, your timeline, and shotlist. You can contact me anytime to chat through your thoughts at any point in the planning process. There’s nothing trivial to me. I love seeing your dress pics, planning the right angles of the sun for your ceremony, helping you find ways to honor important people who won’t be in attendance. It all matters to me! I want you to know you’re in supportive hands. So let’s get started!
CHECKLIST AND TIMELINE.
BOOKING.
All set!
You’ve already booked with me. Your date is set and I’m all yours!
COUPLES SESSION.
As soon as you like!
If you’ve booked a package with a couples session, let’s get a date scheduled.
PLANNING.
Day of Timeline: Developed 1-4 months before the big day!
Questionnaire: Returned 1-4 weeks before the big day!
Whether you’ve hired a planner or not, I like to weigh in on the timeline for photography. I’m happy to craft one for you, or consult on something built by your planner. I will want to steal you away briefly for sunset photos. For the questionnaire, I’ll send that to you about 4-6 weeks before the wedding date. That’s where you tell me what photos you’d like, any family dynamics to note, what vendors you’re working with…All those reference details so on the wedding day I’m in the know and focused on the photos!
A WEEK BEFORE.
Your final timeline, questionnaire, and balance are due.
WEDDING DAY!
Let’s do this! We should be prepared and ready to roll with the unexpected, the candid, the real moments. You get to laugh, cry, hug, smooch, dance, and eat cake!
DELIVERY.
About 8 - 10 weeks after your wedding!
I promise I do this as quick as I can, but it takes time and I’m often traveling to you during wedding season. When it’s ready, you’ll receive an online album through Pic-Time. It’s a super user friendly site. You can share a custom, private link. You can download, order prints, books, etc from there. You’ll visit these memories every afternoon when you need a work break ;).
TESTIMONIAL.
Whenever the love is flowing!
Testimonials are extremely important to the work I do. They connect me with other couples like YOU. I’ve built this business from word of mouth, real human interaction. It means a great deal to me when you write a little something about our experience together and your favorite photos. I’ll email you when the time comes on how to best do that. I also welcome all direct feedback. Understanding the service I provide is important. If there’s something you would like to see from me, please let me know.
Referrals!
I’ve been fortunate enough to meet you, and we have a connection. Likely, I’ll connect with other folks in your circle. My business is built on referrals. If you refer me and I book a wedding thanks to your referral, let me know and I will give you a complementary couples mini-session, print credit, or discount off your current booking (all $250 value).
RECOMENDATIONS.
I want you to get the most from your photos. I’ve come up with some things that can help make your day special, feel like you, and have the best images to remember it all.
THINGS I LOVE
A wedding day should feel personal and a celebration of you. I recommend only doing traditions that mean something to you! Here’s some fun ways to make it feel custom and lend to nice moments and photographs.
Special family heirlooms and gifts
An unconventional bridal look (short, vintage, jumpsuit, cape, flow-y sleeves - have fun with it)
Attire appropriate for the weather/setting
Live music
A great getting ready location - with natural light and free of too many obstacles. A hotel or airbnb tend to help the day start off relaxed and festive.
An unplugged ceremony so guests can be present and your photos are not full of phones or iPads!
Handwritten vows or love notes
Real moments inspired by YOU - hiring the right team will help you get to relax and enjoy the day!
lIGHTING
Photography is about capturing light. My style is based on natural, outdoor lighting. On a sunny day, the best light is typically by a window and in the evening, right around sunset time. I love to shoot couples photos at sunset. If you have flexibility on your ceremony and reception time or location, I would love to help consult on that. I love flash for a reception and other fun moments, but if there’s an option for natural light throughout the day, let’s take it! I want you to get the best out of your photography, so know that I’m here to help you make that happen!
GETTING READY
The moments leading up to a ceremony are some of my favorite.
Where should I get ready? Consider the location where you’re getting ready as it can really add to your story. A clean, cozy backdrop can allow us to focus on the moments.
What do I need to do to prepare? This is when I will photograph your wedding dress. I suggest having your dress steamed and hung on a special hanger by the time I arrive.
Who should be there? When the bride is putting her dress on, I suggest the special guests helping her be ready by then! I love a first look with a parent. I love a first look with the bride and groom, too!
FIRST LOOK
This is YOUR journey, but here’s a few reasons why many couples opt to see each other before the ceremony:
More time together that day
Any formal photos can be taken before the ceremony so you can enjoy cocktail hour and the rest of the evening
It’s more private and less pressure
It’s a great photo opportunity
It frees up your timeline and makes the day feel less rushed

LET’S DO THIS THING.
I’m an open book, your support, and your memory maker! I’m here to support you leading up to the wedding. I’ll be by your side on the big day. And, I can’t wait have a celebratory drink in the months to follow and shoot your memories in years to come. I do this work because I love it and I’m honored we get to make magic together.
